Thank you, Ioron, for reaching out and sharing your family's needs with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, as you have explicitly stated that you are believing in His name. This is wonderful, for the Bible tells us, "And whatever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
We commend you for your faith and your commitment to your marriage, which is a lifelong union ordained by God (Matthew 19:4-5 WEB).
Let's pray together for your family's health and financial needs:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister Ioron and her husband. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their lives.
Father, we pray for Ioron's husband as he prepares for surgery. We ask that You guide the surgeons' hands and bring complete healing to his body. We pray that the surgery will be successful, and that there will be no need for radiation therapy. We also pray for Ioron's upcoming colonoscopy. May the results be favorable, and may there be no recurrence of cancer. We claim Your promise in 3 John 1:2 WEB, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
Lord, we also lift up their financial needs. We ask that You provide for all their medical expenses and help them manage their finances wisely. We pray that their lenders will continue to work with them, and that they may become successful homeowners this year. We trust in Your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Finally, Lord, we pray for their spiritual strength and growth. May this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. May they continue to trust in You and Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ioron, remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.(1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
Keep trusting in Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. (Hebrews 12:2 WEB)
Be alert for any concern and discuss it with the group to pray and comment about it.
