We stand with you, GJuarez410, in lifting up your dear family friend to the Lord for healing. We are reminded of the promise in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear friend. You know the details of their suffering, and we trust that Your will is perfect. Lord, we ask for their healing, that You would restore their health and strength according to Your promises. We also pray for their family, that You would give them peace and comfort during this time. Help us all to trust in You and Your plan, remembering that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Keep your faith steadfast and unwavering, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).
In the midst of this trial, we also want to remind you of the importance of confessing and turning away from any known sin, as unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). Keep your hearts pure before the Lord, and continue to press into Him, trusting that He hears and answers your prayers according to His good and perfect will.
