We are truly saddened to hear about the diagnosis of Rue, the father of your children, with kidney cancer that has now spread to his lungs. Let us stand together in prayer, seeking God's will and healing for Rue.
First, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of faith. As it is written in James 5:15, "The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We also know that healing ultimately comes from God, as stated in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
However, we must also remember that God's will is sovereign, and sometimes healing comes through physical restoration, but other times it may come through spiritual healing and eternal peace. We pray fervently for the former but trust in God's will above all else.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch upon Rue. We ask that You place Your healing hands upon him, that You comfort him and his family during this time of distress. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal. We pray for a miracle, Lord, but ultimately we submit to Your perfect will. Help Rue to draw closer to You during this time, and if it is Your will, please heal him physically. We also pray for Aulinnen and the children, that You would give them strength, peace, and faith during this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Aulinnen, to continue praying and seeking God's face during this time. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Keep praying in Jesus' name, and trust in God's perfect will.
