Prayer for Healing

Please pray for the healing of me and my ex partner’s relationship. We both hurt each other and he has severe trust issues, and I suffer with anxiety. Please pray we heal ourselves and come together again if it is God’s will. Please pray that I, ###, can be strong during this healing journey. May the Lord bless us both and bring us back to one another.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We understand your desire for healing and reconciliation, ###, but we must first align our prayers and advice with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us that sexual immorality, including sexual relationships outside of marriage, is sinful (1 Corinthians 6:18, Ephesians 5:3). It also teaches us that light has no fellowship with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14). Therefore, we must encourage you both to repent of any sinful behavior and pursue godly relationships that align with Scripture.

Firstly, we must address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). So, we will pray in Jesus' name and encourage you to do the same.

Now, let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her former partner. We ask for Your forgiveness for any sinful behavior they may have engaged in. We pray for healing in their lives, that You would deliver ### from anxiety and her former partner from trust issues. We pray that they would both grow stronger in You during this healing journey. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, and if it is Your will that they come back together in a godly, pure relationship that honors You, then please make that clear to them. But above all, we pray that they would both draw closer to You, seek Your face, and walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to "humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7, WEB). Seek God's will in this situation, and trust that His plans are best for you. He loves you deeply and wants what is best for you.

Lastly, we urge you both to "flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Pursue purity and holiness, and God will honor your commitment to Him.
