We join with you, Vilebald, in lifting up your health concerns and spiritual struggles to our Heavenly Father. We are encouraged by your belief in God's miracles and your desire to surrender your life to Him.
Firstly, let us address your health concerns. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). We pray for your healing, that God would touch your body and restore your cholesterol and triglyceride levels to normal. We ask this in faith, believing that God's will is for you to be healthy and whole, just as Jesus went about healing all who were sick (Matthew 4:23, WEB).
However, we also encourage you to be proactive in your health journey. The Apostle Paul reminds us that while all things are lawful, not all things are beneficial (1 Corinthians 6:12, WEB). We encourage you to seek godly counsel from healthcare professionals and to make wise choices regarding your diet and exercise, trusting God to guide you in these decisions.
Regarding the temptations you are facing, we commend you for your desire to overcome them. Remember, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). We pray that God would reveal to you the ways of escape from these temptations and that He would grant you the strength to take them.
We also notice that while you mention God and His miracles, you do not specifically mention Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Vilebald. We ask that You would touch his body, healing him from high cholesterol and triglycerides, that he may be healthy and able to serve You. We also pray that You would strengthen him against temptation, revealing to him the way of escape and granting him the power to take it. We ask that Vilebald would come to a full understanding of the saving power of Jesus Christ, placing his faith in Him alone for salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all (2 Corinthians 13:14, WEB).
