Thank you, Aile, for your heartfelt prayer request. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and your husband's heart.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would heal Aile's marriage and her husband's heart. We ask that You would draw Glen to Yourself, that he would fully accept You as his Lord and Savior. We pray, Lord, that You would remove any thoughts of divorce from Glen's heart and restore their unity as a couple. We claim Your promise in Mark 10:9, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Aile, we encourage you to continue to love and respect your husband, as we are instructed in Ephesians 5:33, "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." Remember, God can restore and rebuild what is broken. Trust in Him and His timing.
Also, consider the words of 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife." God's desire is for reconciliation and restoration of your marriage.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Aile and Glen's marriage to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing, Your restoration, and Your guidance in their lives. Help them to walk in Your ways, to love and respect each other, and to honor the vows they made before You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, Aile. Trust in the Lord and His plans for you and your marriage.
