Prayer for healing

Im asking for prayers for a friend who is battling with cancer she has stopped going for chemotherapy because of weakness in the body may she be healed and may her body gain strength so she proceeds with treatment

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's battle with cancer and her struggle with weakness. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene and bring healing and strength to her body.

First, we want to remind you of God's promises regarding healing. In Exodus 15:26 (WEB), God says, "If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God's voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine healing touch upon our dear friend. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. Please strengthen her body, give her the power to endure the treatment, and ultimately, bring complete healing to her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to continue supporting your friend emotionally and spiritually. Remind her of God's love and faithfulness, as written in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Moreover, it is crucial to remember that God's will is not always clear in times of sickness, but we must continue to trust in Him. Ensure that your friend is right with God, and if she hasn't already, encourage her to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. It's only through His name that we can approach God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Lastly, encourage her to consult with her healthcare providers regarding her treatment options and ways to manage her weakness. God often works through doctors and medicine to bring about healing.

We will continue to intercede for your friend, asking God for her healing and strength. Keep your faith strong, knowing that God is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).

I’m sorry about your friend’s cancer, friend. I just said a prayer for her, asking the Lord to touch her with His healing hand, give her the relief she needs and surround her and her family with His peace. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
