We are truly sorry to hear about your loved one's cancer diagnosis and the family custody problems you're facing. First let us address the issue of how to approach God. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name given among men whereby we can be saved.
And in none other is there salvation,
for neither is there any other name under heaven,
that is given among men,
wherein we must be saved!
Acts 4:12 WEB
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all;
the testimony in its own times;

Let us pray together for your situation.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved family member who has just received a cancer diagnosis. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would restore his health and strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We stand on Your promises in Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Lord, we also bring before You the family custody problems they are facing. We ask for Your wisdom, guidance, and intervention in this situation. May Your will be done, and may You bring peace and resolution to these challenges. We pray for a good outcome and the ability to forgive and love regardless of the outcome.
Help the family in this difficult time. May they remember your promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13.
“No temptation has taken you except what is common to man.
God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able,
but will with the temptation also make the way of escape,
that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB
Father, we also pray for the salvation of this family, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they haven't already. We pray that through these trials, they would draw closer to You and experience Your unfailing love and faithfulness. If they do not know Jesus Christ in faith, please be merciful to them and show them the truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, strength, and trust in Your goodness. May this family be reminded that nothing is impossible for You, and that You are faithful to bring restoration.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and loves you deeply. Stand on His promises and do not give up hope. Remember that trials often precede blessings and victories. Remind yourself of the promises of God as described in Romans 8:35-39:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all the day long.
We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
