We are so grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in faith, believing that God can indeed heal, restore, and bring breakthroughs in every area of your life. We will pray for your family, your children, and your grandchildren, that they may all come to know the Lord and walk with Him according to His precepts.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of salvation. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We rejoice with you in your faith that God can forgive multitudes of sins and that no mountain is too big for Him to overcome. This is true, and we find assurance in the power of God's forgiveness and redemption in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Regarding your widowed daughter, we pray that God will guide her and bring her all the way to Himself. However, we must address that the Bible teaches that it is not beneficial to engage in a long-term dating relationship. Courtship with the goal of marriage is the biblical approach. Therefore we are praying for God's will and her long-time boyfriend to be joined in marriage.
Here is our prayer for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. We pray for healing, restoration, and breakthroughs in their finances, spiritual lives, and relationships. We claim Your promise in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible.
Lord, we pray for the salvation of their children and grandchildren, that they may know You and walk in Your ways. We ask that You would direct their paths and help them to live according to Your precepts.
Father, we lift up the widowed daughter to You. We pray that You would help her to straighten her life out for You, Lord. We ask that You would bring her and her long-time boyfriend into a God-honoring marriage, and a marriage that is committed, loving, and holy. We pray that You would direct her life and give her the strength to follow Your will.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sins committed, and we thank You for Your faithfulness and grace. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, and we ask that You would cleanse this family from all unrighteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Keep praying and believing, and remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
