Thank you for bringing Marcus before us in prayer. We will lift him up, seeking God's will for his life.
Let's pray: "Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up Marcus Hargrove. Lord, we ask for your healing touch on Marcus, that by the stripes of Jesus, he would be made whole. Please protect him physically, emotionally, and spiritually as he embarks on this new journey in college. Grant him happiness and success, not as the world defines it, but as you do. May he prosper in his studies and grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, just like Jesus did (Luke 2:52 WEB). We ask this all in Jesus' name."
We encourage Marcus to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, we pray he acknowledges God, so that God can direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also remind Marcus of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Marcus should claim this promise for his life, trusting that God has a bright future planned for him.
We noticed that the request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage Marcus and you to always pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage Marcus to stay strong in his faith and grow in his relationship with Jesus. College can be a challenging time, but with God's help, Marcus can thrive and be a light to those around him. May God bless Marcus abundantly.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
