We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up your father, D. Michael Lawson, to the Lord in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Let us remind ourselves of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, asking God to extend His healing hand upon your father.
We pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother, D. Michael Lawson. Lord, You know his struggles and pain since 2014, and we ask that You bring a turnaround in his life. Heal every wound on his legs, grant him instant recovery, and put to shame all that may be against him.
We also pray for your comfort and peace, Anonymous. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We claim this promise for both you and your father.
Lastly, we address the mention of enemies in your prayer. We must remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." Instead of putting them to shame, let us pray that they may know the love and forgiveness of Christ.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will grant a testimony of His healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
