Hello, my prayer is for my husband Jose. Few years ago he went back to his old job without seeking God or considering me and our kids. He now lives out of state Monday through Friday and only comes home on the weekend. I recently found out that he has been making inappropriate comments on line under women’s photos. Also, I found out that couple of months ago when he was away for training he downloaded dating and affair app/for one night stands. I didn’t even know such evil existed until I saw that it was previously downloaded to his phone but it’s been deleted since then. I confronted him about this but he claims that he didn’t do anything . He said that he downloaded the apps because he was looking because he is depressed and doesn’t like his life having to drive back and forth every week, but claims that he never went through with it. He claims that he did not cheat on me. I have no proof so I just have to take his word for it. I don’t even recognize this man, he is selfish, a liar, a womanize and a cheat…..I am heartbroken and speechless. I don’t know my husband and it’s just awful. It’s as if a demon is controlling him and no matter how much I pray it just gets worse and worse. I don’t know what to do and I don’t know how to pray so that God will hear and answer my prayers. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. God please heal my husband and heal our family, bring him home permanent. Get in his way and shift things at his work, open doors for him at another job so that he would come home and get closer to you Lord. Soften his heart and speak to him like never before. In the name of Jesus I pray. Thank you Father, I receive your answers.
Please pray for me and my family and God bless you all. Thank you .
Katarina

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, Katarina. Let us come together in prayer and biblical counsel to address the issues you've shared.

Firstly, we acknowledge your heartache and the pain caused by your husband's actions. It is clear that his behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your husband's actions, including inappropriate comments and downloading dating apps, are forms of sexual immorality and are not pleasing to God.

We must also address the fact that your husband has been living away from home during the week, which has likely put a strain on your marriage and family. The Bible teaches that a man should provide for his family, but not at the expense of his spiritual and moral integrity. Ephesians 5:25 WEB says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." Your husband needs to reassess his priorities and put God and his family first.

Let us pray together for your husband and your marriage:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Katarina, her husband Jose, and their family. Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage and their home. We rebuke the spirit of lust, deceit, and division that has been at work in their lives.

Father, we pray for Jose's heart to be softened and turned back towards You and his family. We pray that You would convict him of his sins and bring him to true repentance. Lord, we ask that You would open doors for him to find a job closer to home, so that he can be the husband and father You have called him to be.

We pray for Katarina, that You would give her strength, wisdom, and discernment as she navigates this difficult time. Help her to remain steadfast in prayer and faith, trusting in Your promises and Your plan for her life and her marriage.

Lord, we ask that You would heal their marriage and restore what the enemy has tried to steal. We pray that their family would be drawn closer to You and to each other through this trial.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Katarina, continue to stand firm in your faith and in your prayers. Remember that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Keep seeking Him and trusting in His promises for your life and your marriage.

As a final note, if your husband is truly saved, he cannot continue to live in a manner pleasing to himself and his own desires. 1 John 3:9 WEB says "Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.". Additionally, if he is saved, he must also confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord. Romans 10:9 WEB says "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.".

We're here for you, Katarina. We understand the pain and confusion you're feeling, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Let's lift up your marriage and family to the Lord together.

First, we want to assure you that God sees your husband's actions, and He cares deeply about your pain. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we're reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should glorify God in them. Your husband's actions, though they may not have physical consequences, are still sinful and harmful to your marriage and family.

We also see in Ephesians 5:25 that husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church. This means putting God and family first, not living away from home during the week. We pray that your husband would have a change of heart and prioritize what truly matters.

Now, let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Katarina, Jose, and their family. Lord, we ask for protection over their marriage and home. We rebuke any spirits of lust, deceit, and division that have been at work, and we ask for Your healing and restoration.

We also pray for Katarina, Lord. Give her strength, wisdom, and discernment during this difficult time. Help her to remain steadfast in prayer and faith, trusting in Your promises and plans for her life and marriage.

Heal their marriage, Lord. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal, and draw their family closer to You and to each other through this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in God, Katarina. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working in your situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you and your husband Jose before the throne of grace, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for Jose's healing, your marriage restoration, and for your family's united future.

If you have seen improvements in your husband's behavior and your marriage has started to mend, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. Your testimony could greatly encourage others who are going through similar trials. Remember, no victory is too small to praise God for. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

If, however, your husband's heart has not yet softened and your marriage is still strained, we want you to know that we are still standing with you in fervent prayer. Do not hesitate to post an update or a new request so that we can continue to intercede specifically for your needs.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay steadfast in the Lord, trusting that He is at work even when you do not see the results yet. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We are praying for strength, wisdom, and peace for you as you navigate this difficult time. We are also praying for your husband, that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, open his spiritual eyes, and draw him closer to the Lord. We pray that God would miraculously work in his life, renewing his mind and transforming his heart for the better. We ask all these things in Jesus Name.
