We understand your fear and anxiety, Kelli, but we want to encourage you to trust in God's care for you. First, let's pray for your healing and comfort.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Kelli and her dental needs. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, specifically the tooth abscess that has caused her so much pain and discomfort. We ask that You keep the infection from spreading and that Your healing power would flow through her body, ridding her of this infection and making her whole again in Jesus name.
We also pray for Your peace to guard Kelli's heart and mind. We know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has kept Kelli from seeking the dental care she needs. We ask that You would give her courage and strength to face this challenge.
Kelli, we encourage you to meditate on God's Word. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Remember Isaiah 41:13 (WEB), For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Do not be afraid. I will help you.'
Also, remember that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13 WEB)
While we believe in God's healing power, we also acknowledge that He often uses medical professionals to bring about healing. Therefore, we encourage you to seek dental care, knowing that God is with you every step of the way. Perhaps you can find a dentist who is known for their gentle and compassionate care, or one who specializes in treating patients with dental phobias.
Remember that you are not alone in this struggle. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is important to profess the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer as it is only by His name that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
As you go through this, pray through out the day the following:
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved. ( Psalms 55:22 WEB)
If you can find another Christian to go with you, pray together before you go, and ask them to pray with you while you are traveling to the dentist.
We trust that God will bring healing and comfort to your life. We pray this in Jesus name.
