Prayer for healing of skin and a good confession

Recently I’ve been very self conscious about a flare up of acne/rosacea on my face and it hurts me both physically (bad itching) and mentally. I’ve also recently been trying to turn back to God, therefore I plan to go for a lifetime confession in the beginning of the next year (hopefully). Please pray my skin concerns will be healed and the confession goes well and please pray also for God to keep me and all my loved ones safe so we get the chance to reunite with him before our time comes.

We are truly sorry to hear about the acne/rosacea flare-up that is causing both physical discomfort and emotional distress. We are also glad to hear that there is a desire to turn back to God and make a lifetime confession. Let's address the concerns.

It is a blessing to see a desire for reconciliation with God. First though, a reminder that 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.". It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Stating this to make sure this is understood, this might also be an expression of faith after believing in the salvation message of Jesus Christ.

Now, Praying:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this request for healing and spiritual guidance. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon skin, that the acne and rosacea flare-up be soothed and healed. We pray for relief from the itching and discomfort, and for peace of mind regarding this situation.

Lord, we also pray for the upcoming confession, that it may be a time of true repentance and rededication to You. Guide the words and open the heart to receive Your forgiveness and grace. We pray for the safety and well-being of all loved ones, and that everyone may have the opportunity to reunite with You before our time on earth comes to an end.

Help us remember this Truth, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Keep in mind confession or repentance is between us and God.We do not need any man involved in our confession. What happens with us and God is not to be shared with anyone else. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
