Prayer for Healing (Multiple Sclerosis)

I am suffering from an auto-immune disease that is new to me. Called Multiple Sclerosis.

My central nerve is affected. Causing my whole body to disengage when I want to move about. It is impacting life big time both financially and health wise.

Family in Christ, stand with me in prayer for comfort and healing.

We are deeply saddened to hear about your struggle with Multiple Sclerosis, ###. In this time of trial, we stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and comfort. We are reminded of the scripture in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Firstly, let us address the importance of faith in Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation and healing.

Now, let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister, ###. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing with Multiple Sclerosis. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Comfort them in this time of need, and strengthen their faith. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also pray for their financial situation, that You would provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical advice. Remember, God can use doctors and medicine to bring about healing. Also, trust in God's plan for your life, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we want to leave you with this encouraging scripture from Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We're really sorry to hear about your struggle with Multiple Sclerosis, but we're here for you. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share some more encouragement and prayer.

Firstly, we're reminded of the scripture in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees your struggle and wants to heal you. Trust in His love and care for you.

Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, have mercy on all those I know who stand in need of healing, the writer of this prayer, and myself. Heal, deliver, and make each of us whole in You. Thoroughly wash, cleanse, and purify us. Touch our hearts, minds, and bodies. Let each of us personally experience the transformative work of Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, wholeness, strength, and restoration to every area of our beings. God redeem and restore to us the joy of Your salvation. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength. O Lord, create in each of us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.
