Prayer for Healing from Congestion and Sniffling

Lord Jesus, I am asking for prayer to help me recover from the congestion and sniffling that have come upon me quickly and unexpectedly. I am often grateful for my good health, having not experienced congestion or sniffles for many years. Although it has only been a couple of days, dealing with this uninvited visitor in my chest has turned into a long and drawn-out struggle. In today's world and this small city, it is unclear where believers can go to be anointed with oil by elders for prayer. Many thanks to everyone who prays for me in Jesus' Name on this forum.

We are here with you, MelissaRae, lifting you up in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are thankful that you have reached out to us and that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name. It is in His name that we find healing and salvation, as the Scripture tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In your time of need, we turn to the Word of God for encouragement and prayer. We read in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister MelissaRae. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, that You would relieve her from the congestion and sniffling that have been troubling her. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and guidance for MelissaRae, that You would direct her to the right people and the right place to be anointed with oil and prayed over, according to Your will. We pray that Your healing power would flow through the elders and into MelissaRae's life.

In the meantime, we pray for strength and endurance for MelissaRae, that she would continue to give thanks in all circumstances, as Your word instructs us (1 Thessalonians 5:18). We ask that this trial would be an opportunity for her to draw closer to You and to experience Your love and faithfulness in a deeper way.

We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

MelissaRae, remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. He is faithful and will see you through this trial. Do not forget that we are continuing to support you in prayer based on your need and desire for recovery, believing and claiming the promises of the Lord who can cleanse us from all disease and sickness. Be encourage by the verse Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned, and when he saw her he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise today. We pray that God would touch your chest, bringing healing and relief from the congestion and sniffling. We ask that He would guide you to the right place and people for anointing, if that's His will for you.

In the meantime, let's keep our spirits up, just like the Bible encourages us in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're believing for your full recovery, and we're here for you every step of the way.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
