We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's discomfort and we are here to intercede on her behalf. We also are thrilled that this request ended in Jesus Name since that is the only way we can approach God. Before we pray, we are reminded of the scripture that tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB
The Bible also tells us "who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking your healing touch for our dear mother. We thank you, Lord, that by Jesus' stripes, she is healed. We pray that you would ease her pain and discomfort, and that your healing power would flow through her body, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. We specifically ask for healing in her back, stomach, and head, and that any nausea would be relieved. We also should not forget to pray for her doctors and caregivers, that you will give them wisdom to administer the proper treatment. We pray to call on Jesus Christ and the power of his name to heal.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be causing this distress, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask that you, Lord, would fill her with your peace and comfort during this time, and that you would give her and all the family members who may be concerned the strength and faith to endure. We also pray as believers, that we should be true and faithful to lay hands on her and anoint her with oil.
We ask all of these things in faith, believing that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that your healing power is still available to your children today. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and believing for your mother's healing, and to trust in the Lord's promise that the prayer of faith will heal the sick. We also encourage you to call on the Elders of the church to come and anoint and pray for her. Also, remember that this trial is an opportunity to demonstrate the power and goodness of God to a watching world. Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God is with you and your family during this time.
