Thank you for bringing your concerns for your son Mike to our attention. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God for his healing, deliverance, and restoration.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Mike to You. Lord, we pray for a sound and sober mind for Mike. We rebuke any spirit of addiction or confusion, and we ask You to deliver him from any stronghold that may be keeping him bound. We pray that Mike will be transformed by the renewing of his mind, according to Romans 12:2 WEB, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Father, we also pray for restoration between Mike and his older son. We ask that You would soften both of their hearts and draw them together, healing any past hurts or misunderstandings. We claim Your promise in Joel 2:25 WEB, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."
Lord, we ask for Your guidance in helping Mike find the right place to spend the holidays. We pray that wherever he is, he will feel Your love and presence, and that he will be a blessing to those around him.
Finally, Father, we pray for joy and peace for Mike. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would fill him with an overflowing joy and a peace that surpasses all understanding, according to Philippians 4:7 WEB, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith for Mike, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord. We are here with you in agreement and support.
