We join you in prayer, seeking God's healing and restoration for your leg. We are reminded of the time when the children of Israel were wandering in the wilderness. People were bitten by serpents and crying out for healing. Upon intercession the LORD provided a way of healing. Observing how the children of Israel were healed by looking at the bronze serpent lifted up by Moses, we fix our eyes on Jesus, believing in faith for your complete healing. Remember it is by his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 WEB But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine healing touch for your child. Lord, you know the pain and discomfort that they are experiencing. You know their desire to walk with ease, just as they did before. We ask, Father, that you heal their leg completely from the post-surgery effects. Remove all limping, and restore their walk to the way it was before.
We pray, Father, that your healing power would flow through their body, mending every bone, muscle, and tissue that needs restoration. We speak healing and strength back into their leg. We declare that, just as Jesus healed the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, your child will walk again without discomfort.
John 5:8 WEB Jesus said to him, "Arise, take up your mat, and walk."
Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in your goodness and your ability to heal. Remind them that you are a loving Father who cares for your children. We ask that you would provide comfort and encouragement as they wait on you for complete healing.
