We are truly sorry to hear about the heartbreak you're experiencing, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance from a biblical perspective.
Firstly, let's remember the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to you in this time of pain, and He cares deeply about your heartache.
However, we want to gently remind you that as believers, we are to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. The term "boyfriend" is not found in Scripture, but we are encouraged to pursue godly courtships that lead to marriage. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are advised, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" As you reflect on this relationship, consider whether it was aligned with God's will for your life.
We also want to address the desire for closure. It's natural to want answers, but remember that God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Instead of seeking closure from your former boyfriend, seek God's healing and guidance. Trust that God has a plan for your life, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is experiencing heartbreak. Lord, we ask that You comfort her and heal her broken heart. Help her to trust in Your plan for her life, knowing that You have her best interests at heart. Give her the strength to resist the temptation to seek closure from her former boyfriend, but instead, help her to seek Your will and Your healing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep trusting in God, and remember that He loves you deeply. Lean on Him for strength and guidance during this difficult time.
