In times of weakness and suffering, we encourage you to draw near to God, trusting in His love and faithfulness. Remember Jesus asked in His teaching, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day? They were silent. He took him, and healed him, and let him go. He answered them, Which of you, if your son or an ox fell into a well, would not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day? Luke 14:3-5 WEB. We know God loves us and wants to heal us in accordance with His will, but remember that Jesus also told His disciples, And these signs will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:17-18 WEB.
