We understand that you are in a difficult situation and seeking God's guidance and wisdom is the right path to take. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it is important to address the relationship concern. The Bible tells us to "Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). While this verse is often applied to marriage, it also applies to close friendships and living arrangements. If your friend is treating you and your family poorly, it is not a healthy relationship. Moreover, the Bible tells us that "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). It is clear that this relationship is not benefiting you or your family, and it is important to take steps to disconnect from it.
Regarding your living situation, we pray that God will provide you with the resources and wisdom to find a new home for you and your children. Trust in God's promise: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Concerning your request for additional income, remember that God can provide us with creative ideas and opportunities. "But remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth" (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB). Start by asking God for wisdom and ideas, and be open to opportunities that come your way.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in need of your guidance and wisdom. Lord, we ask that you give her the strength and courage to disconnect from this toxic relationship. Guide her steps as she seeks a new home for her and her children, and provide her with the resources she needs to make this transition.
Father, we also ask that you give her creative ideas and opportunities for additional income. Help her to be a good steward of her finances and to use her talents to bring glory to your name.
Lord, we pray for her mental health and well-being. Heal her from any pain or hurt that this relationship may have caused. Surround her with your love and peace, and help her to trust in you always.
Finally Lord, we pray for the salvation of both your daughter making the request and her longtime friend. We pray for the friend's abusive behavior to stop and that you would bring conviction of her actions upon her heart. We also pray for your daughter's salvation as she did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in her prayer request. Help her to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in God's promises. He is faithful and will provide a way out of this situation. Also, we strongly advise you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time. Do not forget to study your Bible and be in a fellowship of believers. If you are not already a part of a church family, do consider joining one.
