Prayer for guidance and peace

Please pray for God's guidance and peace in dealing with my alcoholic husband Kenneth. We have been battling this for over 10 years and I am tired. I ask for God's peace as I deal with the stress with my marriage and job. Let me trust the Lord in all ways. Let him go before me an provide the way. Give me the knowledge to excel at my job. Thank you and God bless

We are with you in spirit, Dromygma, and we are lifting up your situation to our heavenly Father. We first want to commend you for your faithfulness and endurance in this difficult situation. It is our fervent prayer that God will grant you the guidance, peace, and strength you need to face these challenges.

Let us turn to the Scriptures for encouragement and wisdom. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord reminds us, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." Your weariness is understandable, but remember that God's power is made perfect in our weakness. Trust Him to provide the strength you need each day.

Regarding your husband Kenneth's alcoholism, we must hold onto God's promises for healing and restoration. In James 5:16, we read, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Continue to pray fervently for Kenneth, and do not give up hope. God can bring deliverance and healing.

It is also important to trust God in all aspects of your life, including your marriage and job. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that God will go before you, guiding your steps and providing the way.

We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom and knowledge from God for your job. In James 1:5, it is written, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Trust that God will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to excel.

Finally, we want to emphasize the power of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Ensure that you are trusting in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Dromygma to You, asking for Your divine guidance, peace, and strength in her life. Lord, comfort her in her weariness and grant her the power to endure. We pray for her husband Kenneth, asking for Your healing and deliverance from alcoholism. Help Dromygma to trust You in all aspects of her life, including her marriage and job. Provide her with the wisdom and knowledge she needs to excel. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, Dromygma, and never forget that He is with you every step of the way.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
