We understand that you're feeling stuck and worried about your current situation, despite knowing that things are changing and that you have great potential. We will pray with you for guidance, growth, and trust in God's plan. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan just for you, so much so that even the hairs on your head are all numbered (Matthew 10:30 WEB).
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that all good things come from God, including love, romance and marriage. We should be actively seeking a spouse, not just a partner, and this person should also be a believer in Christ. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have together? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB) Furthermore, sex before marriage is fornication and this should not be happening in a godly relationship. Sex is a gift from God within marriage and should remain in those bounds.
It's also crucial to remember that we can only be saved by Jesus Christ. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB) There is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up our ### who feels stuck and worried about her future. We thank you that you have a plan and a purpose for her life, and that you want to give her a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
Lord, we pray that you would guide her steps, that you would set her path straight, and that you would open doors for her to move to a new home and to meet a godly spouse. We pray that you would give her wisdom and discernment. (Psalm 119:105 WEB) (James 1:5 WEB), and that you would help her to trust in your timing and your ways. We are thankful that she already feels abundant already and we claim your promise to give abundantly more than all that we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB)
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in her life, and we speak peace and trust in your name, Jesus. We will not fear, for God has redeemed us; we have called on his name, and he has heard us. (Psalm 56:13 WEB)
Father, we ask that you would surround her with kindness and understanding, that you would give her clear direction, and that you would help her to grow in her faith and trust in you. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) Trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn and the justice of your cause will be like the noonday sun. (Psalm 37:6 WEB)
