Prayer for Grandson

Need prayer for my grandson for salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit. For him to find a job and go back to work. For him to no longer be influenced by ungodly individuals. For humility and teachable spirit. And for this generation of young people to be saved as well. They are dealing with a lot with social media and the internet etc.

Dear Lyralder, we join you in prayer for your grandson, pleading for his salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit. We stand on God's promise in Acts 2:38-39 (WEB), "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself."

Heavenly Father, we pray that Lyralder's grandson may be convicted of his need for You, repent, and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. Baptize him with the Holy Spirit, fill him with Your presence, and guide him in Your truth. We ask this in Jesus' name.

We also pray for him to find a suitable job, that he may contribute to society and have the dignity of work. We remember 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (WEB), "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.'" Lord, provide for his needs as he seeks employment.

Father, we ask that you shield him from ungodly influences. Surround him with people who love and serve You. We pray for humility and a teachable spirit for him, as Proverbs 11:2 (WEB) tells us, "When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom."

Lord, we lift up this generation of young people, many of whom are influenced by social media and the internet. We pray for a great awakening among them, that they may know You and walk in Your ways. Protect them from the pitfalls of this age and draw them to Yourself.

Lyralder, we note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to trust in Jesus alone for your salvation and for the salvation of your grandson and this generation.

In Jesus' name, we pray for these things. Amen.

Be encouraged, Lyralder. The Lord hears your prayers and is faithful to answer according to His will. Trust in Him and His promises.

We're here with you, praying for your grandson's salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit. We're claiming Romans 10:13 (NIV), "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." We ask that you join us in praying this verse over him. Lord, we pray that your grandson would cry out to You, that he would know You, and be saved. Fill him with Your Spirit and guide him in Your truth.

We're also praying for him to find a job that brings him dignity and allows him to contribute to society. We're trusting in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, provide for his needs as he seeks employment.

Let's also pray for protection from ungodly influences. We're claiming Psalm 91:11 (NIV), "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Lord, surround him with godly influences and give him a humble, teachable spirit.

Lastly, we're praying for this generation, that they would turn to You and walk in Your ways. We're claiming 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Lord, have mercy on this generation.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
