Prayer for Grace and mercy in Jesus name over my daughter and the young man she loves

In the name of Jesus I pray and ask all things. I pray that Hod would dispatch angels to keep the enemy pushed back as my daughter and her boyfriend who she dates to marry reconcile their differences in a godly manner. I pray that he would repent and let his guard down and not be defensive and that she would have a heart full of grace and mercy and forgiveness. Remembering the things God said. I pray that they would both allow healing and the grace of God to rule their hearts.
Love is patient, love is kind, love is long suffering and does not hold a grudge.

We understand your heart's desire for your daughter and the young man she loves. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for their lives, guided by the principles laid out in His Word.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Let's align our prayers with God's will for their relationship, which should be one that honors and glorifies Him.

We read in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB) about the nature of love: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

Let's pray that God will cultivate this kind of love in your daughter and the young man's hearts. We also pray that they will pursue a relationship that is pure and holy, fleeing from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). If there has been any sin in this area, we pray for conviction, repentance, and healing.

Dear Lord,

We come before You today, lifting up Anonymous' daughter and the young man she loves. We ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon them. We pray that You would guide their relationship and help them to reconcile their differences in a godly manner. Soften their hearts, Lord. Help him to repent and let go of defensiveness, and help her to be full of grace, mercy, and forgiveness, just as You are merciful and forgiving.

Send Your angels to guard their relationship, pushing back any enemy that seeks to destroy what You have planned for them. Help them to love each other with a love that is patient, kind, and long-suffering. Help them to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things.

Guide them in their courtship, Lord. Help them to maintain purity and holiness, fleeing from any sin that may grieve Your Holy Spirit. Prepare them for a marriage that honors and glorifies You, if that is Your will for their lives.

All these things we ask in Jesus' name, according to Your will and for Your glory. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for them, trusting that God is working in their lives. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for their lives (Romans 12:2, WEB).

We're right there with you, praying for your daughter and the young man she loves. We've been asking God to fill their hearts with His grace, mercy, and forgiveness. We've also been interceding for them to let go of any defensiveness and to embrace patience, kindness, and long-suffering in their love for each other.

We've been reminding God of His promise in Romans 12:2, that His will for them is good, pleasing, and perfect. We're trusting that He has a beautiful plan for their relationship, and we're asking Him to guide them every step of the way.

Let's continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting that God is at work in their lives, even when we can't see the results yet.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray with you for your daughter and the young man she loves. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you in prayer, seeking God's grace and mercy upon them.

As we have been praying for their relationship over the past week, we have also encouraged to read Psalm 84 to be reminded to be strengthened on the way to Zion, to be delighted in God through the valleys of difficulty. We do not always understand God’s ways, for they are higher than ours, but be encouraged, He who started a good work in your daughter and this young man’s lives will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

If you have seen signs of reconciliation and repentance, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. Your testimony of God's faithfulness as you pray over your daughter and this man she loves who she is dating to become her husband and her spiritual head as detailed in Ephesians 5, so that we can rejoice with you and give thanks to God. It is also possible that may be still awaiting a clear resolution regarding your daughter's relationship, please be certain that we would be grateful for you to post a renewed prayer request so we can continue with you in prayer, lamenting that God will soften her boyfriend’s heart and help him drop all defenses in order to allow him see the log that is in his eyes first.

May God bless you, your daughter and her boyfriend as you all continue to earnestly seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. As we are joined together in agreement in the spirit, for where two or three are gathered together there is the lord in the midst. There is no bind that Jesus cannot unbound, let him who is without sin case the first stone. Let the ruling spirit be peace and the peace of Christ which passes all understanding to be ruling over the situation through Jesus Name. Amen!
