We understand your desire for good neighbors and the peace that comes with it. Let us first assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living environment. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Fishym's request for good neighbors. We ask that you bless them with neighbors who are quiet, courteous, and respectful. May they be a positive influence in the neighborhood, and may your love be reflected through them. Lord, we also ask that you take away Fishym's anxiety about new neighbors. Fill them with your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in you, knowing that you have their best interests at heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Fishym, that God is sovereign, and he places people in our lives for a purpose. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that even in the placement of your neighbors, God has a plan.
Lastly, we encourage you to be the kind of neighbor you wish to have. In Luke 6:31 WEB, Jesus teaches us, "As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them." Show kindness, respect, and courtesy to your neighbors, and trust that God will take care of the rest.
We noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9). If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is only through him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
