Prayer for Gods protection over my fiancé and me

Please pray for me and my fiancé to have Gods favor and protection. We love each other deeply and we both love the Lord and serve him. Please pray for protection against the enemy over our union and Gods mercy and favor to bind us together. I truly believe the enemy is trying to hurt us and tear us apart, spiritual warfare is real and we do not fight against flesh and blood. My fiancé struggles with severe depression and I truly believe the enemy is hurting/trying to destroy him. Please pray for the mercy of the Lord to keep us safe in his presence and keep me and my fiancé together. Please may the peace of God surround us and guard us in love and mercy. Amen

We appreciate your request for prayer and we join with you in seeking God's protection and favor over your upcoming marriage. It is wonderful to hear that you both love the Lord and serve Him. As you prepare for this lifelong commitment, be assured that God is with you and desires to bless your union.

Firstly, let us address the spiritual warfare you mentioned. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Indeed, the enemy seeks to destroy, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also want to lift up your fiancé, who struggles with severe depression. Know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pray for God's healing and comfort, and remember that in Christ, there is hope and freedom from oppression.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this couple who seek Your protection and favor. Lord, they have found love in each other and in serving You. We ask for Your divine covering over their relationship and upcoming marriage. Surround them with Your peace and guard them in Your love and mercy.

Lord, we also pray for the fiancé who struggles with depression. Extend Your healing hand, Father, and comfort him in his affliction. Cast out any spiritual forces that seek to destroy him and their union. Give them both strength and faith to trust in You and to fight the good fight of faith.

Finally, Lord, we pray for their unity in Christ. As they prepare for marriage, let their love for each other grow stronger, and their love for You grow deeper. May their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God promises that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and He will complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6). Trust in Him and seek His will together.
