Prayer for God's protection over ### and me

Please pray for me and my ### to have God's favor and protection. We love each other deeply and we both love the Lord and serve Him. Please pray for protection against the enemy over our union and God's mercy and favor to bind us together. I truly believe the enemy is trying to hurt us and tear us apart, spiritual warfare is real and we do not fight against flesh and blood. My ### struggles with severe depression and I truly believe the enemy is hurting/trying to destroy him. Please pray for the mercy of the Lord to keep us safe in His presence and keep me and my ### together. Please may the peace of God surround us and guard us in love and mercy. Amen

Firstly, let us address the spiritual warfare you mentioned. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Indeed, the enemy seeks to destroy, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also want to lift up your fiancé, who struggles with severe depression. Know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pray for God's healing and comfort, and remember that in Christ, there is hope and freedom from oppression.
