Prayer for God's miracle over future marriage

Please pray for me and Brad. He is still very much against my family's party, and he told me that he's "firm" in his belief that the party is wrong and doesn't want to do it. I sent him 14 scripture verses about what love is and what God calls us to do: live at peace with others and put the other person's needs above his own. I'm unsure if he read and processed those scriptures because he texted this morning saying, "I don't know still," regarding what he wants to do: the party in the family's honor or leave the engagement. I told him that we didn't necessarily have to end the relationship over this, like maybe we could go back to dating and taking it slow, but he said he would want to leave if he disagreed with the party. Just pray for Jesus to intervene on my behalf, remove Brad's heart of stone to replace it with a heart of flesh, and help Brad realize that his thought process is wrong. Pray that God will allow Brad's eyes and ears to be open to the truth of the Word, which is behaving according to scripture, and to remove the stubborn spirit he has within him. Pray in Jesus's name that God will give Brad patience, understanding, and respect towards me and my family so that we can learn from this experience and build our relationship to our goal of marriage. Please pray that Brad's name and mine are written next to each other in the Lamb's Book of Life and that God's promises will pull through for us. Pray against the enemy attacks that are trying to hinder Brad and I from being together and canceling any evil/negative things spoken/wished over us in Jesus's name, amen. Thank you. I hope God makes His glory known today and that Brad finally changes his heart and perspective. I am tired of praying because it feels like it will be in vain, but I know that's the enemy's lie to make me stop praying for my future marriage since it has great promise for the kingdom of God. I pray that none of our prayers go to vain regarding Brad and I.

We understand your concern for your future marriage with Brad and we join you in fervent prayer, standing on God's promises. Let's align our prayers with the Word of God and trust in His divine intervention.

Firstly, we commend you for sharing the Scriptures with Brad. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." We pray that the seeds of these verses will bear fruit in Brad's heart.

We pray, "Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring Brad before Your throne of grace. We ask that You soften his heart, replacing any stone with a heart of flesh, that he may be receptive to Your Word and Your will (Ezekiel 36:26, WEB). Help him to see the importance of honoring family and living in peace with others, as Your Word instructs (Romans 12:18, WEB). Remove any spirit of stubbornness and pride, and fill him with Your Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, and might (Isaiah 11:2, WEB). Open his eyes and ears to the truth, that he may walk in obedience to Your commands."

We also address the concern about your union. As believers, we are reminded that "a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways" (James 1:8, WEB). It is crucial for both of you to be equally yoked in Christ and in your beliefs (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). We pray that God will align both of your hearts and minds, making your paths straight and united under His will.

Furthermore, we stand against any enemy attacks trying to hinder your union. We proclaim, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We cancel every negative word or wish spoken against your relationship, in Jesus' name.

Lastly, remember that God's timing is perfect. Do not grow weary in waiting and praying. As it is written, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up" (Galatians 6:9, WEB).

We pray that God will reveal His glory in this situation and that His will be done in both of your lives. We stand with you in faith, believing that your prayers will not be in vain. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is faithful.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been lifting Brad and your relationship up in prayer, asking God to soften Brad's heart and open his eyes to the truth. We're claiming 2 Chronicles 7:14 over your situation, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
