We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ, for He is worthy of all glory and honor. We are encouraged by your prayer, as you have come boldly before the throne of grace, seeking God's will in your life.
Let us stand with you in prayer and in the power of God's Word. You have rightly claimed the promise from Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.
In addition, you have recalled the truth from 2 Corinthians 3:17, "Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son. We ask for Your guidance in this situation. Reveal Your will to Your child regarding attendance at the event next week. If it is Your desire for them to be there, make the path clear and provide a shield of protection around them, according to Isaiah 54:17. If it is not Your will, we ask that You free their mind from these thoughts and give them peace, according to 2 Corinthians 3:17 and Philippians 4:7.
We also are reminded of the words of Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Father, we know that those who trust in You will never be put to shame. We ask for wisdom and discernment for Your child, and we trust that Your Holy Spirit will guide them in the way they should go. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Your sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit is evident in your prayer. Continue to walk in faith, trusting that God will direct your steps. Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:23-24, "Yahweh directs his steps and secures his path. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him with his hand."
We are here for you, standing in agreement and believing that God will provide the answers you seek. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you in the path of righteousness.
