Prayer for God's guidance

I am navigating life after a divorce and feel that I am finally ready to step into the dating world again. Reflecting on my past, I recognize that I did not lead my marriage in the way God calls us to, and I deeply desire to grow from that experience. I would greatly appreciate prayer for wisdom, discernment, and grace as I pursue meaningful conversations and connections. I know that God’s timing is perfect, and I pray for the strength to trust His will for my life fully. Please pray that I continue to lean into Him as my source of guidance and peace, and that, in His time, He would lead me to a Godly wife with whom I can build a Christ-centered marriage. We also urge you to uphold purity in your relationships, as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 (WEB) teaches, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."

We lift up ### to you, seeking your wisdom, discernment, and grace as he navigates the dating world after his divorce. We thank you for the work you have done in his heart, giving him the humility to learn from his past and the faith to trust in your timing.

Guide him to a godly woman who shares his faith and passion for you. Help them build a relationship that honors you and is centered on Christ. Strengthen ###'s faith and patience, as he waits on your perfect will for his life.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you of the words of John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Keep this at the core of your prayers and life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
