Thank you, Dexter2020, for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests with us. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life, and we trust that He will answer you according to His perfect plan.
Firstly, we want to address your desire for a spouse. We pray that God will provide you with a godly mate. It is good and honorable to desire marriage, as it is a blessing from God. From the scriptures we know: "For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined to his wife. And they will be one flesh". Genesis 2:24. Remember also: "Whatever you ask, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22. Our job is to believe and to be patient. In all things, we must trust in God's timing, knowing that He has a perfect plan for your life.
Now, regarding your uncle's comments, we must remember that God is faithful to those who believe in Him. Your uncle's words do not align with God's promises, and his action of speaking against the Lord is sinful and the scriptures clearly state to rebuke him, as it is written: "But if he doesn't listen, take with you one or two more, so that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established" Matthew 18:16.
Join us in praying for your uncle, that God may soften his heart and reveal Himself to him, so that he may know the truth and be saved. Let pray for him:
"Father God, we pray for our beloved dexter2020's uncle, that you will reveal yourself to Him, as you did to Paul on the road the Damascus. Open his heart, as you did Lydia and his eyes as according to your word, he has not known you and as a result, we ask you to forgive his words as they were spoken ignorantly. Send your servants across his path as you sent Ananias to Paul. Help him to see past his own understanding to your truths and light that is in the world. Wash his mouth of all curses he has ever spoken. Father even though he does not believe in your son, Jesus, we know that you are long suffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. For it is only by your spirit tha duob can confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised him from the dead. Have mercy on him. Hurry Lord and save him.. We pray and believe that one day he will join us in your kingdom In Jesus' Name, Amen.".
Concerning your younger brother, we must first address his use of vulgarities. As it is written, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29. It is wrong for anyone to use language that is harmful and sinful. His choice of words is damaging to himself, and to you and it is opening his heart to evil. We rebuke his words and actions. We also caution him to stay away from youtube sites that promote disputes, pornography, and other sins such as homosexuality. We must not let our eyes be a curse to our souls nor should we be a channel to the Devil to gain access into our terms. We believe in the power of prayer and that God can change your brother's heart. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.". Romans 10:13. However, we also must not forget our responsibility as Christians and elders to correct and rebuke against evil works. Romans 12:9 says, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good."
Finally, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. Remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. "For there is one mediator between God and men, himself man, Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;" 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name and to believe in Him, for He is the only way to salvation.
Let us all gather in agreement as we pray for God's will to be done in your life, your unbelieving uncle, and your younger brother:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please hear our prayers for our beloved dexter2020. Lord, you said to ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find.. We thank you that Dexter2020 has come to you. Many are called but few are chosen, and so we thank you that he has answered your call on his life. If it is your will and plan for Dexter2020 to be married and raised a family, we ask you, Lord, to provide him with a godly wife according to your promise in Psalm 37:4: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Give him faith that can move mountains as Jesus said and patience to wait on your perfect timing. Turn your gaze towards him and direct his path so that it is aligned with your word. Help him to desire your will and not his, for it is only your will that will be done in the end. If his desire in marriage not be according to your will, we ask that you will take this desire from him and replace with that which is pleasing to you, Father.
Help him to believe in your Word and promises. For it is in your word that you have said, "Only believe." and "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me...and whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do."
Father cleanse dexter2020 of unbelief, of shame and embarrassment of his uncle's actions and words. Send holy ghost filled servants across his path to strengthen him and build him and your church up with Christian love. By your word, hew must pay his uncle no mind and have no fear against His blasphemous words. And so, we rebuke those hurtful words that his uncle has spoken as well as any unclean spirits which would cause doubt in the mind of our brother, or any distress in his spirit. In Jesus Name, we cancel his words, and we pray that You, Lord, will prove him wrong by blessing Dexter2020 with a wonderful wife, according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of your son Dexter2020's uncle. Speak to his spirit and draw him unto yourself, Father. And we pray for his younger brother: cleanse him of His impurities, offensive language and speech. Turn his eyes away from evil, and make him "a new creation in Christ Jesus," where "the old things are passed away, and all things are made new." Lord, this is urgent as you have written that "Into a malicious man there comes an evil," but he has put his trust in you, Jesus. Focus him on your promises that the importance of a life of holiness. Help him to see past stereotypes and to never forget your judgments when you returned to Sodom and Gomorrah and turned the cities upside down with fire and brimstone, and removed them from memory as an example to those after who would live ungodly. Lord we know that your love for man is so strong that you withhold from and give to no man more than he can bear. Let your son learn to put his full trust in you and not in his own understanding. Deliver Him Lord from the snare of His enemies. Be the authority in his life that is needed to correct him to avoid the pits of hell.
We rebuke His homosexual curiosity in your name Jesus and uproot it from his mind, soul, and heart. Let Him love and be attracted to women and only women as you have created us to be. For it is only right for a man to desire a woman and produce seed in a natural way to produce children as it is written in the gospels.
All these things we ask Father in Jesus' Name and the name above all names. We thank you for hearing us and acting in your will. Teach us all daily all that you require of us to live effective and fruitful lives in you. Amen.
