We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your relationship and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address that the name of Jesus Christ is only mentioned once at the end of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can come before God the Father. Let's ensure we're praying correctly. Any relationship that is not focused on Jesus will not succeed as Jesus is the vine and we are the branches and we cannot do anything apart from Jesus.
We want to remind you that God's desire is for you to be in a relationship that honors Him. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As for those who mock you, remember that Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray that You will turn this story into a testimony of Your power and might. Strengthen this individual and give them a heart to forgive and love as You do. We pray for a change in the mindset of those involved, that they may turn away from any hatred or frustration. Most importantly, we pray that both parties will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, the "way, the truth, and the life" and the only way to the Father. We ask that You will guide them into a relationship that honors You, Lord and Father, and point the way to godly marriage if that is Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. Psalm 37:4 WEB tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Seek Him first, and He will guide your path.
Lastly, we want to remind you that forgiveness is a powerful tool. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Trust in God, and He will see you through.
