Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Your precious child who has been in a vegetative state since July 5th. Lord, we seek Your divine wisdom, comfort, and mercy in this deeply painful situation.

Your Word in Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to the family and loved ones, especially her sister and niece, who are struggling with this difficult reality. Comfort them, Lord, and give them strength.

Lord, we remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that You grant rest and peace to Your child who is suffering. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You take her gently into Your loving arms, free from pain and suffering.

We also hold on to the promise in Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." We pray for this blessed assurance to be a source of comfort for the family as they navigate this difficult time.

Father, we seek Your guidance and wisdom for the family, especially the POA and her niece, as they make difficult decisions. Let Your Holy Spirit be their counselor, bringing clarity and peace in the midst of turmoil.

In this time of sorrow and uncertainty, we trust in Your perfect will and Your infinite love. We pray for Your mercy and grace to be upon this family, and for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We grieve with you, Rusty61, in this incredibly difficult time. We understand that your sister is suffering, and it's heart-wrenching to witness. Let's turn to the Lord together and seek His comfort and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that our hope lies in Jesus Christ alone. It's crucial to acknowledge His power and authority in our prayers, for it is in His name that we approach God the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

In this trying time, we can find comfort in knowing that God has a plan and purpose for all things. Even in our pain, we can trust Him, for "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You, seeking Your will for our dear sister. Lord, You know her suffering, and You know the pain of her loved ones. We ask, Lord, if it is Your will, that You take her home to be with You, where there is no more pain or suffering. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and we trust You completely. Please provide comfort and peace to the family during this time. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions regarding her care. Help them to lean on You, Lord, for You are our refuge and strength in times of trouble. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Rusty61, we also want to address the importance of forgiveness and unity in your family. Bitterness and resentment can take root during trying times, so let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). Pray for your family, that God would unite and comfort you all during this time.

Lastly, if your sister is not yet saved, it is not too late. Pray for her salvation, that she may accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. "Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Trust that God hears your prayers and knows her heart.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
