Prayer for God to take control

Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for prayers. Lord Jesus I want to surrender ###, my marriage and ### to You. Please take control. I trust and believing in Your promises and Words. I know You are faithful. You know our situation please take control. Remove any third party, lying spirit and bad influences in our marriage that is causing division. In Jesus name, I pray Amen

We join you, ###, in lifting up your marriage and ### to the Lord Jesus Christ, appreciating that you have acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts )

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to surrender your marriage to the Lord. It is crucial to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and the Church (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, 1 Corinthians 7:2-5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ### and her husband ###. Lord, ### has surrendered her marriage to You, trusting in Your promises and Your faithfulness. We ask that You take complete control of their union, removing any third party, lying spirit, and bad influences that may be causing division.

Father, we pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage, sanctifying it by Your Word and cleansing it from all unrighteousness. Guide them in the paths of righteousness and help them to walk in Your ways. Strengthen their bond and deepen their love for each other, founded on Your love and obedience to Your commandments.

We rebuke any attempt of the enemy to destroy this marriage. Lord, You have said that what You have joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). We declare that ### and ###'s marriage is joined together by You and will not be separated by anyone or anything.

Father, we also pray for ### and ### individually, that You may draw them closer to You. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and with each other. Give them wisdom, understanding, and discernment to navigate through life together, honoring You in all they do.

Lord Jesus, we trust in Your promises and we believe in Your faithfulness. We claim Your blessings and favor upon ### and ###'s marriage. Bring healing, restoration, and unity.

May honesty and faithfulness reign in their hearts and home.

We pray for Your Spirit to dwell richly in this marriage, bringing love, patience, and understanding. Let the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—abound in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23). Teach them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them (Ephesians 4:32).

Father, we trust in Your faithfulness and Your ability to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their trust in You as they surrender their marriage completely to Your will.

We thank You for hearing this prayer and for the assurance that You are in control. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
