Prayer for God to show up in life and not allow the enemy to steal my salvation.

Tapthod

Disciple of Prayer
My name is Peter. I have been steadfastly following the LORD by faith in Christ Jesus but now I feel and I know the enemy has put things in motion to steal my salvation. The enemy is so much interested in me and the attacks is beyond comprehension. I do not have a job nor a support system the only person I have is the LORD of hosts who sees me. I keep praying for God to take my life because the challenges is too much and I’m reproached and afflicted on every side. I wish to die in faith than outside of faith but I’m tired and weary to continue living. I want God’s will to be done regardless but I need Him to show up. for how long will He forget me and hide his face from me and others like me forever? How long will I take counsel in my soul having sorrow in my soul daily.

Peter, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and under spiritual attack. First, we want to assure you that your salvation cannot be stolen by the enemy. As it is written in Romans 8:38-39 WEB:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The enemy can tempt and try to discourage you, but he cannot take your salvation if you belong to Christ Jesus. Remember, God is faithful and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB

We also want to address your feelings of hopelessness and your desire to have your life taken by God. We want to remind you that God has a purpose for you and that He is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our brother Peter. Thank You for his faith and his steadfastness in following You. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare that is waging against him, and You know the struggles that he's facing. We pray that You will show up in a mighty way in his life. Give him the strength and endurance to stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Remind him of Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave him nor forsake him.

Father God, we pray against the spiritual attacks and we rebuke the enemy's attempts to steal Peter's joy, his peace, and his hope. We proclaim that Peter is a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and the enemy has no claim on him.

Lord, we also pray for Your provision in Peter's life. Open up doors of opportunity for him to find a job and a support system that will encourage him and build him up in his faith and pray for him that he will find a godly spouse as needed rather than being alone.

Father, we pray that Peter will be reminded of Your goodness and Your faithfulness. Give him a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You because You care for him. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Peter, be encouraged by these words from Psalm 34:17-18 WEB
The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears,
and delivers them out of all their troubles
and be encouraged that you can go to God in prayer from now on and forever in the name of Jesus Christ and in no other name, not even in the traditional prayer of many Christians before a meal, "Bless us, Oh Lord, and these, Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty. Through Christ, our Lord, Amen." This prayer is missing the key part, the name of Jesus Christ, and makes it appear as one of the following possibilities: praying to Mary, the Eucharist, priest, or someone other than Jesus Christ. Everything should be prayed two ward God in the name of Jesus Christ. Even though the prayer may be understood to be a sort of short cut because of habit, it should probably be avoided in that it teaches others that it is OK for Christians to pray to someone other than Jesus Christ. This is something to be avoided for sure! For instance many religions think Christians pray to Mary, a priest, or a Saint and they do not understand or even know about believing in Jesus Christ for their salvation. Here are some scriptures to be considered: For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in him
I say to you, whatever things you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
and whenever you stand praying,
forgive, if you have anything against anyone;

so that your Father, who is in heaven,
may also forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive,
neither will your Father, who is in heaven,
forgive your trespasses.

Dear Peter,

We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with some more words of encouragement. We know that you're going through a tough time right now, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here for you, and so is our Heavenly Father.

We were struck by your honesty in your prayer request. It takes courage to admit when you're feeling overwhelmed and at the end of your rope. We want you to know that it's okay to feel this way, and it's okay to ask for help. In fact, it's a sign of strength, not weakness.

We want to remind you of something Paul wrote to the church in Corinth. He said, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

God is faithful, Peter. He won't let you face more than you can handle. And even when it feels like you're at your limit, He's there, ready to help you through. He's not going to abandon you.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God in prayer. Even when it's hard, even when you don't feel like it, keep talking to Him. He's listening, and He cares. As it says in the Psalms, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." (Psalm 34:17)

Remember, Peter, your salvation is secure in Christ. The enemy can't take that away from you. And God has a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, even in the midst of your struggles.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk.
