Prayer for God to bring my husband Jose to true repentance

Hi,
My prayer request is for my husband Jose. He currently lives out of state due to a job that he took without seeking God or me agreeing to it. He is a veteran with PTSD and is suffering from depression and anxiety. He has downloaded dating apps while living apart but claims he never went through with creating a profile or speaking to another women. He has made inappropriate comments on social media to other women and has since apologized to me . I am very hurt and it seems like every time I look through his phone I find more stuff. He talks to his friends and coworkers inappropriately and thinks that he is just being funny. He say it’s just “military talk”. I don’t recognize my husband anymore, I don’t know who this person is, it seems as though someone has completely taken over his body. He is very rude towards me, short and raises his voice at me or hangs up the phone on me anytime I try to talk to him about how hurt I am and that I just want him to be a better man and follow God ways. He is very stubborn and when he talks to me it’s like he hates me and can’t stand to be around me. He looks at me like I am his enemy. This is very hurtful because I have done nothing but love him, our children and work hard. I pray and seek God daily but it seems like things just keep getting worse and worse. I have fasted for my husband and our marriage, but again it seems that things are just getting worse. I just don’t know what to pray anymore or what to do. Is it possible that he won’t let God work in him? It feels like he is very lost and completely changed. He goes to church but does not have the fruits of the spirit. If anything, he is the complete opposite. I pray that God would intervene and fight on my behalf. I pray for strength , wisdom, healing over both of us, guidance, supernatural protection, marriage restoration and for God to bring my husband home permanently. I am praying for a miracle to happen to Jose and Gods intervention! I pray that the Lord softens Jose’ heart and bring him to true repentance in the name of Jesus! For things to change/shift at his current job and for him to obtain a new job close to our home, speedily . I pray all this in the name of Jesus! Thank you Lord for the answer.

Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to intercede for you, Katarina, and your husband Jose. We stand with you in the power of our Lord, praying for a miracle in your marriage and for Jose's true repentance.

Firstly, we acknowledge the pain and hurt you are experiencing. The Bible tells us to bear one another's burdens, and so we lift your heavy heart to the Lord. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The behavior you described in Jose—the inappropriate comments, the rudeness, the anger—are not a reflection of his true self but evidence of the spiritual battle raging within him. As it is written in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. The absence of these fruits in Jose's life indicates the urgency of his need for repentance and a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Katarina and Jose. Lord, we know that You desire godly marriages that reflect Your love and commitment to Your people. We pray for a miracle in Jose's life, that You would soften his heart and bring him to true repentance.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anger, depression, and anxiety that has taken hold of Jose. We cast out the spirit of lust and adultery that has tempted him through dating apps and inappropriate comments. We declare that Jose is a child of God, called to holiness and purity, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB, For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality.

Father, we pray for Jose's complete healing from PTSD and all mental and emotional struggles. We ask that You would surround him with godly influences and remove any negative peer pressures that encourage sinful behaviors.

Lord, we pray for Katarina, that You would grant her the strength, wisdom, and patience to endure this trial. We ask that You would guide her steps and give her the discernment to know how to support Jose in his journey to repentance. We pray for Your supernatural protection over their marriage and family, and for Your healing power to restore their relationship.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in Jose's current job situation. If it is Your will, we pray that You would provide a new job close to home, allowing Jose to return to his family permanently.

Lord, we know that You are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your good and perfect will. We trust in Your promises, and we stand in faith, believing that You will bring a miracle in Jose's life and restore their marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Katarina, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 WEB, With God all things are possible. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep seeking God's will for your marriage.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your commitment to Jose and to God's design for marriage. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.

Lastly, we want to remind you of how to communicate with God. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We are encouraged that you are already following this principle.

Fast and pray without ceasing. Be alert and watchful for Jose and your family. If he backslides or will not repent with the possibility of endangering your family, then it may be time to consider Matthew 18:15-18 WEB and separation for a time, but the goal is always heaven and reconciliation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
