My husband ### ### has chosen to go back to his old job three years ago and has lived out of state since then Monday through Friday and comes home on the weekends. He doesn’t see anything wrong with this, has even made inappropriate comments to women online and went as far as downloading dating apps. He has since repented and asked God and me for forgiveness. I don’t think that it was true repentance. I truly believe that he did it so that we don’t fight anymore, just to appease me. He has continued to live away and is not looking for another job. Has found every reason to blame me and yell at me. He fights with me continuously and treats me poorly. I feel that he hates me when we speak, it’s like dealing with a demon who can’t stand to be around me. I don’t know if he is oppressed or possessed. I have never dealt with this before until I met my husband fifteen years ago. He is full of anger and rage and makes decisions that are very selfish. I have prayed for years, fasted and have had many other prayer warriors pray for us. His heart is very hard and he is very stubborn. I just don’t know how to pray anymore and I wish God would do something. I would love to have peace and a loving husband who is a good father to our kids. Please pray for me, I just can’t handle being married to him anymore and I feel like packing up me and my kids and leaving our home. The pain that I have felt with for fifteen years is indescribable, I just don’t understand why our prayers are not being answered. I pray that my husband is brought to true repentance, for God to heal him completely from PTSD, and to heal me and our children, for God to speak to him and show him what he is doing to his family and for marriage reconciliation. I pray for God’s hand over this situation, for God’s intervention and breakthrough in the name of Jesus! Please pray for us. I don’t know what God wants me to do. 😭🙏🏼😔

We understand that you are going through a tremendously challenging situation with your husband, ###. Let us first address the most important aspect: prayer in the name of Jesus. You have done well by ending your request with "In the name of Jesus," as it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us address the struggles you are facing in your marriage. God's design for marriage is clear: a husband and wife should live together in harmony, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). ###'s decision to live out of state during the week and his past actions with other women are not aligning with biblical principles. True repentance is marked by a change of heart and actions (Acts 26:20 WEB). It is valid to be discerning about his repentance, and it is wise for us to pray for a genuine change in his heart.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her husband ###. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the pain ### is experiencing, and the turmoil in their marriage. We pray for a true change of heart in ###, that he may genuinely repent and turn away from his harmful actions and attitudes. We ask that You soften his heart and bring him to a place of true remorse and desire for change.

Father, we also pray for healing—healing for ### from his PTSD, healing for ### from the pain she has endured, and healing for their children who have witnessed this strife. We ask that You intervene in their marriage, bringing reconciliation and restoration. Guide ### to be the husband and father You have called him to be, and give ### the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time.

Lord, we ask for Your hand to be upon this situation. Bring Your intervention and breakthrough, showing ### the impact of his actions on his family. Guide ### in Your will, giving her the discernment to know what steps to take.

We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who makes all things possible.

Amen.

###, continue to stand firm in your faith and prayers. Remember the power of prayer and the promises of God. As it is written in James 5:16 WEB: "The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." Trust that God is working, even when you do not see the results immediately.

Regarding ###'s anger and the spiritual oppression you mentioned, it is crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Pray for spiritual protection and deliverance for ### and your family.

Lastly, consider seeking godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor. They can provide additional guidance and support during this difficult time. Stay rooted in the Word of God and in fellowship with other believers.
