We join you, dear sister, in bringing your future husband before the throne of God. It's wonderful that you're praying for his preparation and healing in Jesus Christ. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is working in his life even now.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the future husband of our dear sister. Lord, we pray that You would do a mighty healing work in his life. Touch his heart, mind, and soul, setting him free from any bondage, hurt, or past sin. We pray that he would be faithful, trustworthy, and strong in his walk with You. Prepare him for marriage, molding him into the godly husband that You desire him to be.
Father, we ask that You would give him a spirit of wisdom and revelation, that he may know our sister already, and that he would seek her out, guided by the Holy Spirit. We pray for a godly, pure, and blessed union that would bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we also pray for our sister. Give her clarity and help her to surrender all to You. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your ways. Prepare her heart as well, as she waits upon You.
Remember, sister, that God's timing is perfect. As it is written in Isaiah 64:4 WEB, "For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him." Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding.
We also encourage you to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It's only through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide your path.
Lastly, we remind you to be patient, keeping your heart and mind stayed on Jesus. The marital choice of a spouse should be a Christian Believer. I Corinthians 7:12-20If any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content with living with him, let him not leave her. The unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? Only, as the Lord has appointed to each one, as God has called each one, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies. Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. Let each man stay in that calling in which he was called. Were you called when you were a bondservant? Do not be concerned about it. However, if you are able to become free, use it rather.
