We are truly concerned for Chris and are here to intercede together in Jesus name.
Let us pray to God Almighty for Chris's safe return and for the comfort of your heart during this challenging time. We are reminded of the words of the Psalmist, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Chris to You. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. We cry out to You, asking that You guide Chris back to safety. Give him strength and protection in his current state. He is out in the cold and his health is not good, Lord, so please surround him with Your warming presence, and guide the police and searchers so that they can find him quickly. Lord please give us the wisdom and guidance to help Chris.
We are reminded that "The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; even my God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower." (Psalms 18:2)
God, we also lift up Goilorurdion, who submitted this request. Please comfort their heart and give them peace and patience as the search for Chris continues. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation and that Chris and Goilorurdion will see Your mighty hand at work in their lives through this trial.
Father God, let this difficult time be turned into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness to them, and let it be a time of reflection on the Name above all names. The Word of God outlines in the book of Acts, Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). Let us keep the name of Jesus Christ on our lips and in our hearts.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Chris's safe return and for strength for Goilorurdion and the search teams.
