We understand that you're feeling oppressed and seeking strength to face each day. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance from God's Word.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Ephesians 6:12-18 WEB
In Jesus Christ, we have freedom from oppression. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:10-12
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who feels oppressed and needs Your divine strength. Deliver them from any form of oppression they are facing, and grant them the power of Your Holy Spirit to face each day with courage and faith.
Equip them with Your whole armor, God, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Help them to be watchful and steadfast in prayer. Fill them with the knowledge of Your love and will, guiding them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake.
We claim the blood of Jesus Christ over their lives. We pray that the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 WEB. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
