Prayer for forgiveness

Please Jesus forgive me for all the ill will I’ve spoken of anyone, I harbored hate because I couldn’t see the gifts you gave me and I am sorry I’ve wasted so many years on what I thought wasn’t fair, I harbored hate for things that happened to me and didn’t seek forgiveness sooner, I hope it’s not too late, I’ve been wrong for so many years and it hurts me that I have done this and didn’t seek your guidance sooner. In Jesus name amen.

We are truly touched by your heartfelt cry for forgiveness, ###. It's never too late to seek God's mercy and guidance. The Bible assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with ###, claiming the promise of Your word that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us. ### has acknowledged the ill will and hate harbored in their heart, and they are truly sorry for the years wasted on resentment. Please forgive them, Lord, cleanse their heart, and help them to see the gifts You have given them. Guide their steps from this day forward, that they may walk in Your light and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to continue seeking God's will for your life. Remember, God loves you deeply and wants to have a personal relationship with you. He says, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

As you continue your journey, strive to love others as God loves you. Jesus taught, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This is not easy, but with God's help, you can overcome resentment and live in forgiveness and love. Keep your focus on Jesus and His teachings, and you will grow in His grace.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
