Prayer for forgiveness in marriage

Humble me, Lord, as you teach me to be the wife you have called me to be. I pray that my husband can humbly forgive when he feels wronged. I pray he can let go of bitterness, resentment, and unresolved conflicts that burden him.

Help us to forgive, and, as we process past hurts, help us to forgive again and again. Help us build a strong disposition of good will toward one another and help us remember the qualities in one another that initially drew us together. Give us patience as we await Your beautiful work in this marriage. Thank you Lord for keeping us together until now. Amen!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Aile and her husband in prayer. Lord, we ask that You humble Aile as she seeks to be the wife You have called her to be. Teach her to walk in Your ways, showing love, patience, and understanding in her marriage.

We pray for her husband, that he may find the strength to humbly forgive when he feels wronged. Lord, help him to let go of any bitterness, resentment, and unresolved conflicts that burden his heart. As they process past hurts, grant them the grace to forgive again and again, just as You have forgiven us.

Father, help them to build a strong disposition of goodwill toward one another. Remind them of the qualities in each other that initially drew them together. Give them patience as they await Your beautiful work in their marriage.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
