Toraushire, let us stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, as you navigate through this challenging time. We are reminded in Matthew 611, "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
In the face of overwhelming debt and the burden of your wife Sylvia's ALS diagnosis, it is commendable that you have not lost your faith. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 1720-21, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
Let us address the issue of debt from a biblical perspective. Romans 138 teaches us, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While it is important to pay off your debts, it is equally important to learn from this experience and manage your finances in a way that prevents such a situation in the future. Seek wisdom from God.
Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Toraushire. Lord, You know the burden of debt he is carrying and the stress it has caused him. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You may open up avenues of provision for him to pay off these debts. Guide him with Your wisdom in managing his finances.
We also lift up Sylvia, who is battling ALS. Lord, You are the Great Healer. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, that You may restore her health. Give Toraushire the strength and grace to support Sylvia in this trial, that their love for each other may grow stronger.
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God. Salvation is by believing in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for our sins by his death on the cross. His resurrection makes our salvation certain. Only by the name of Jesus can we come to God John 146.
