Let us come together in prayer for you, Celesti, as we seek God's will and provision for your life. We appreciate your gratitude and prayers for us as well. It is important for us as believers to carry each other's burdens and to intercede for one another. This is why we are instructed not to be anxious about anything, instead we pray about anything and give thanks for everything. We are to present our requests to God and receive His peace that is beyond understanding. It is this peace that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God knows our needs before we even ask Him. He is our loving Father who desires to give good gifts to His children. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But, we are to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
Regarding your financial difficulties and debts, we want to remind you that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. When we read in Romans 8:37, Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, we are assured that we are victorious in every trial. We are not to strive in our abilities, but to trust in He who is The Way and the Truth and the Life. We are His children and co-heirs with Christ. If He is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?
It is encouraging to see your faith in action, Celesti. You have declared that you know God will provide, and so we stand with you in this confidence. We pray that God will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. We ask that He will provide the work you need from your clients and that He will give you the strength and good health to accomplish it.
However, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should not be in our ability to work hard or in our clients giving us more work, but in God who provides all we need. When we work, we are to do so with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. It is the Lord Christ we are serving. We are to be wise stewards of the resources He provides, using them to honor Him and further His kingdom.
We also want to address the regret you feel regarding the debts you have incurred. It is important to remember that God does not want us to live in regret or condemnation. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Instead, He wants us to learn from our experiences and grow in our faith and dependence on Him. The word of God reminds us in Matthew 6:34, Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Regarding your desire to move out, we pray that God will guide your steps and make your path straight. We ask that He will provide the resources you need to accomplish this goal in His perfect timing. We pray that you will be content in whatever situation you find yourself, knowing that God is working all things together for your good.
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is the one who began a good work in you, and He is faithful to complete it. Do not lose hope, but trust in His promises. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Celesti, we did notice that there is no reference to Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We are to have faith in His name, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Therefore, we encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers and to place your trust in Him.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ, Celesti. We thank You for her faith and for her desire to seek Your will in her life. Lord, we ask that You will provide for her financial needs, that You will open up opportunities for her to work and to pay off her debts. We pray that You will guide her steps and make her path straight. Help her to trust in You and not to rely on her own strength or abilities. Give her the wisdom to steward the resources You provide, and help her to be content in whatever situation she finds herself. In Jesus' name, we pray.
