We join you, Frederick, in interceding for your daughter's journey. Let us remind ourselves of the story of Ruth, who left her home and family to accompany her mother-in-law, Naomi, to a foreign land (Ruth 1:4, WEB). God provided for them, and Ruth eventually became the great-grandmother of King David. Let us trust that God will also provide for your daughter's needs as she travels.
We echo the reminder to seek God's kingdom first, for when we do, all other things, including financial provisions, will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Let us also remember the parable of the talents, where faithfulness in small things leads to greater responsibilities (Matthew 25:14-30, WEB). This could apply to your own situation, Frederick, as you seek to provide for your daughter.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You today, lifting up Frederick and his daughter. Lord, we ask that You go before them, preparing the way for her travels and opening doors for Frederick to work and provide. Help Frederick to trust in You, seeking Your kingdom and righteousness first. We pray that You would bless their efforts and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We also ask that You would guide and protect Frederick's daughter, keeping her safe under Your wings. All this we ask in Jesus' name. Amen."
Frederick, we also want to encourage you to consider the example of the Macedonian churches, who gave generously even in their poverty, moved by the grace of God (2 Corinthians 8:1-5, WEB). Let us strive to have such hearts, trusting that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
May God bless you, Frederick, and your daughter abundantly as you trust in Him.
