Prayer for financial breakthrough and freedom

Dear Lord, I hallow your name and come to you with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for the gift of life and for all the wonderful blessings you continue to shower me with. For all the sins I have committed, in my words, in my heart and thoughts, in what I have done and failed to do, I seek your forgiveness as I forgive those who have wronged me.
On this day, I come to you in humility and seek financial breakthrough and freedom. I am overwhelmed with debt and missed last month's mortgage payment. I have to pay College tuition fees in January for my sons and do not know where or how I am going to get the money to pay. Lord, this is the last semester for my sons in college. Please grant me with the resources to enable them complete successfully. Strengthen my faith in you that I may continue depending on you for answers.
I still seek your favor as I await a response to the children's request to renew their Canadian visitor visa and student permit. I have faith that this prayer is already answered. I thank you, Lord, for giving my son R a new job. You truly are a prayer answering God and I know that in your time, you will make all things beautiful in my life and all my requests will be answered.
This I pray and ask in Jesus name, Amen.

Regarding your financial struggles, we remind you that God knows your needs and He cares for you. As it is written, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things" Matthew 6:31-32 WEB, Seek first God's kingdom and righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33 WEB.Continue to trust in Him, for He is the provider of all good things.

However, we must also remember that God expects us to be good stewards of our finances. It may be wise to seek counsel from financial advisors or godly brothers and sisters in Christ who can help you manage your debts and expenses. Consider the words of Proverbs, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty" Proverbs 21:5 WEB and "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?" They are the ways financial stewardship is discussed Luke 14:28 WEB human wisdom or any other ideal is not enough if unsupported by God and/or scripture.

We join you in praying for your sons' education and visa applications. Trust that God's will shall be done in their lives, for His ways are higher than ours Isaiah 55:9 WEB. We pray that He beings to and completes the good work in them Philippians 1:6 WEB.

We praise God with you for your son's new job, acknowledging that every good gift comes from Him James 1:17 WEB.
