We understand your desire for financial abundance, and we want to pray with you, dear friend. However, we must address some aspects of your prayer request that may not align with biblical principles. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 (WEB) that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. We should seek God's provision, not wealth for its own sake.
We must also clarify that God's miracles are not like lottery wins but are for the advancement of His kingdom and the blessing of His people. In 3 John 1:2 (WEB), we see that God is concerned with our overall well-being, not just material wealth: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
Let us pray for God's provision and guidance in your life, trusting that He knows best what you need:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our dear friend. We pray that You would be their provider, as You have promised in Your Word. Give them their daily bread, and help them to trust in You for all their needs. Lead them to opportunities to work and earn, as You did for the Israelites in Exodus 36:2 (WEB), where people were stirred to bring their offerings according to Your commandment.
We rebuke any spirit of greed or lottery mindset, and we ask that You give our friend a heart of contentment and peace, knowing that You are their source. We pray that they will not look to chance or luck, but to You, the living God.
We also pray for their safety and the safety of their loved ones, that no harm would come to them. Help them to trust in You, even in times of need.
Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is in His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' We encourage you to come to Jesus, believing in His name, for it is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
