We understand that you are going through a challenging time, ###, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider, and He knows our needs before we even ask. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
It's wonderful that you are trusting God to provide for your family's needs. We join you in prayer that the Lord will supply you with food and bless your children this Christmas.
However, we want to address a couple of things in your request. First, it's important to acknowledge that all blessings come from God, and we should always be mindful to ask for His will to be done and glorify Him rather than focus on our desires.
Secondly, while seeking a new job to pay your bills is a responsible action, we want to encourage you to keep your priorities in line with biblical principles. Ensure that your first priority is seeking God's kingdom and righteousness, helping your children either get saved if not already and remain saved if already are and growing in the Lord. This will lead you to a job that will bless you.
Regarding your desire to travel for reconciliation with a loved one from South Carolina, we must ask: have you prayerfully considered if this is God's will for you?
This desire should only be fulfilled if this loved one is either a spouse or planning to become a spouse in marriage. As outlined in the Bible, marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and any romantic relationship outside of marriage between a man and a woman is not godly.
We also noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's essential to understand that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
With these things in mind, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, you know their needs, and you know their hearts. We ask that you provide for them, that you give them their daily bread and bless their children this Christmas in a way that draws them closer to You.
Lord Jesus, you are we are not worthy of the blessings we receive, but Jesus was worthy, and because Jesus is worthy and took our punishment on the Cross, we receive what we do not deserve. Guide ### to a job that will not only meet their financial needs but also allows them to be a light for you. Open doors for a new job for them according to your will and plan. God will grant them favor as they seek God's Kingdom and righteousness in their life.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment regarding the reconciliation with their loved one. If it is your will guide them and lead them in Jesus' name. Provide clarity and direction, and help them to trust in your timing and plan. If the loved one is a believer in Jesus Christ and is seeking a marriage with another believer in Jesus Christ, there is a possibility. If fornication is not involved, the couple can marry.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness, and we ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
